About This Drink
Gutmann has specialised in wheat beer in Titting, Bavaria since 1707, and the Hefe Weisse is the brewery's alcohol-free expression of that long-standing house style. To prevent alcohol from forming during conditioning, the brewery omits fresh yeast at bottling, a deliberate departure from standard Hefeweizen practice that keeps ABV naturally low without post-fermentation removal. The beer is also naturally isotonic, a property the brewery highlights as part of its character.
