Gutmann Hefe Weisse is an alcohol-free wheat beer brewed with wheat. It is left unfiltered, so the yeast stays in the bottle and the beer turns out cloudy rather than clear. Cloudy amber in the glass, it is malty and sweet, with fruity and spicy character carried by the yeast and a gentle hop edge. It is also mildly isotonic. The brand also makes a darker version, Hefe Dunkle.
