About This Drink
The Lemon Elderflower is an extension of Heineken's existing 0.0 range rather than a separate product line. It uses the same double-brewing process as the original, where the beer is fermented, stripped of alcohol under vacuum, then fermented again to finesse the result. Into that base goes lemon juice concentrate and natural flavourings to deliver the elderflower character. In the glass, it's noticeably lighter and less grainy than standard Heineken 0.0. The lemon comes through clearly, a clean citrus sharpness without much bitterness, and the elderflower sits in the background as a soft floral note rather than anything powdery or pronounced. At 19 kcal per 100ml with no added sugars, it sits marginally lighter than the original. It launched in spring 2026 across the major grocery channel in 4x330ml packs at £4. A decent enough option if you want something more interesting than a straight lager but don't want to stray too far from familiar territory.
