About This Drink
Pecheresse has been a Lindemans staple for decades and the 0.0 version arrived in 2025 as their second alcohol-free fruit beer after Kriek. The brewery uses hand-picked peaches and natural aromas in a process described as inspired by traditional lambic methods — though this is a proprietary technique rather than spontaneous fermentation in the classic sense. The beer pours a hazy golden blond with a creamy white head. The aroma is genuinely fruity: ripe, sun-warmed peach with some floral lift. On the palate it leads with sweetness and follows with a light tartness that stops it cloying. The balance is good. It's not complex, but it's not trying to be. This is summer drinking, best served cold from the fridge. Comes in 25cl bottles and best served at 2-4°C. The four-bottle format makes more sense as a treat than an everyday purchase, but for what it is, it does what it says on the label.
