Lowlander 0.00 Wit is an alcohol-free witbier (white beer) from the Netherlands, brewed there in the traditional witbier style. Unusually, it is produced using surplus oranges and lemons collected from local bars and restaurants, incorporating fruit that would otherwise go to waste, and this approach forms part of Lowlander's sustainability efforts. The beer is a hazy golden colour in the glass. On the nose, there are zesty aromas of orange and lemon peel over a soft wheat backbone. The taste is crisp and refreshing, with orange peel, coriander and citrus zest and a surprising citrus kick. The finish is smooth.
