About This Drink
Maisel's Weisse Alkoholfrei is an award-winning alcohol-free Bavarian wheat beer, launched in 2000 and brewed with water from the Fichtel Mountains. The beer uses a specially developed two-component process: one brew is dealcoholised (brewed at full strength and then the alcohol gently removed), while a second is a stopped-fermentation brew (where fermentation is halted partway through); the two are then blended together. The resulting beer is enriched with vitamins and is isotonic, making it well suited to active and nutrition-conscious drinkers. Bright reddish-amber in colour, it carries a mild, spicy aroma of malt, fruit, clove, and a touch of nutmeg, with a slightly fruity, complex weissbier aroma on the finish.
