Meteor Sans Alcool is an alcohol-free pilsner brewed by Brasserie Meteor in Hochfelden, near Strasbourg in eastern France, and de-alcoholised, meaning the beer is brewed at full strength before the alcohol is removed. Pure malt is the sole grain, and the brew registers 14 IBU of bitterness and a colour of 10 EBC, corresponding to its pale golden appearance and light foam. A cereal character runs through the drink; the taste is balanced, with slight bitterness and a touch of honey. Brasserie Meteor gives this pilsner a smoothness degree of 5.2%. It pairs well with a cheese platter, Caesar salad, or spaghetti carbonara.
