About This Drink
Rittmayer Weizen alkoholfrei is an alcohol-free wheat beer brewed in Germany. It follows the Reinheitsgebot, the German purity law of 1516, and uses wheat malt and Hallertauer Mittelfrüh hops. Fermentation runs to completion and the alcohol is then removed, rather than the beer being brewed weak. The colour is amber and naturally cloudy. The nose is fruity, with banana, cereal and yeast. The palate carries banana, cereal, yeast and a fine bitterness. The body is full, with a spritzy, lightly carbonated lift. An award-winning beer.
