About This Drink
SanBitter traces its origins to 1961, when it launched as Bitter Sanpellegrino, before being renamed Sanbittèr in 1985. Produced by San Pellegrino, it is one of Italy's most established non-alcoholic aperitivo options. The drink is particularly recognisable for its packaging: a small dark red glass bottle with no applied label, carrying the brand name printed directly on the glass.
