Red Zero
Crisp and fruity AF cider, made by filtering alcohol from a fully fermented Devon cider.
About This Drink
Sandford Orchards Red Zero is an alcohol-free version of Devon Red, the cidery's own full-strength cider, aiming to carry its full taste. It is produced at the oldest working cider mill in the United Kingdom, in Crediton, Mid Devon, using traditional cider methods. Red Zero is made by fully fermenting the cider, then filtering out the alcohol at 2 degrees Celsius using the same dealcoholisation technology applied to Guinness Zero, meaning the cider is fermented to completion before the alcohol is removed. The apples include Dabinett and Farmers Glory, both Devon cider varieties. The finished drink is crisp, refreshing, and balanced, with whole-juice flavour and a touch of sweetness.
