Schützengarten India Pale Alkoholfrei is an award-winning alcohol-free IPA from the Swiss brewery. It uses Citra and Mandarina Bavaria hops, added cold after fermentation, a technique that draws hop aroma into the beer without adding bitterness. It is bottom-fermented, made with a yeast that works slowly at the bottom of the tank at cooler temperatures, and left naturally cloudy. Golden yellow in the glass, it has a caramel aroma alongside mango, grapefruit and citrus from the hops, with a light grain character underneath. To taste, a gentle bitterness gives way to sweet caramel.
