Three Spirit Livener is an alcohol-free functional spirit, designed as an uplifting party pick-me-up and made by a team of bartenders and plant scientists. The production spans maceration (steeping plant material to extract compounds), fermentation, distillation, reverse osmosis (concentrating the extract by removing water), freeze-drying, and ultrasonic extraction (using sound waves to draw out plant compounds). The botanical blend includes guayusa, guava leaf and L-theanine; each 50ml serving contains 57.5mg of caffeine. On the palate, watermelon and guava come through alongside ginger, with a bitter quality from ginseng and floral green herbs. The finish is dry, with tannin, hibiscus and a fiery heat.
