Waitrose Alcohol Free Rosé is an aromatised drink built on a de-alcoholised Tempranillo rosé, Waitrose's own-label take on a Spanish-style pink. It starts as wine made by fermenting Spanish Tempranillo grapes, which is then gently de-alcoholised using low-temperature vacuum distillation, a process that warms the wine under reduced pressure so the alcohol lifts off without cooking out the flavour. The result is alcohol-free, with peach and summer berries coming through on the palate.
