Wednesday's Domaine Vignette is an alcohol-free red wine made from Tempranillo grapes from the La Mancha region of Spain. It is de-alcoholised, meaning the wine is fermented to full strength and then the alcohol is removed. In the glass, Vignette is a deep ruby red with a clear rim and slow-moving legs. The aroma carries blackberry, currant and light spice. Bold and dry, the flavour runs to dark plums, damson, spice and forest floor, with smooth tannins and a balanced finish. Best served at 14-16°C, it pairs well with cheese, pasta or roasts.
