Hellraiser Dark Amber
A 0.3% American amber ale from St. Louis with a hop-forward profile, pine and citrus up front, and malty sweetness underneath.
About This Drink
Hellraiser pours dark amber with some red in it and carries more hop character than the name might suggest. Pine and citrus dominate the aroma, with tropical fruit and floral notes sitting underneath alongside toasty malt. On the palate, bitterness from orange rind comes first, then the malt and roasted grain pull it back into balance. Dried apricot and a hint of mango keep it from feeling too austere. It bridges American and British amber traditions — closer to a session bitter than a West Coast IPA, despite the hop-forward nose. At 80 calories and zero sugar, it's one of WellBeing's more complex beers. Brewed in St. Louis using German vacuum dealcoholisation.
