Wild Idol Brut is an alcohol-free sparkling wine from a brand founded by Paul Beavis, former managing director of Champagne Lanson, who spent two years developing the concept before launching in 2022. The base grape is Müller-Thurgau, sourced from Rheinhessen in Germany. Rather than dealcoholising a finished wine, the process chills the pressed grape must to just above freezing, preventing yeast activation entirely so that alcohol is never produced. Wild Idol Brut sits alongside a sparkling rosé variant in the range.
