Kahol Spirits

The name is drawn from 'al kahol', the distillation device attributed to Babylonian alchemists, a reference that ties the brand to the deeper history of spirits production. Based at a distillery in East London, Kahol's approach starts with full-strength spirits rather than building alcohol-free versions from scratch. Those spirits are put through a secondary fermentation during which enzymes convert the alcohol to acetic acid, reducing the content to zero. The resulting base then spends an extended period in barrel aging before being infused with a proprietary blend of botanicals. A final blending stage introduces vegetable glycerin, lactic acid, cellulose gum, stevia, sea salt and further botanical extracts, each selected to restore the mouthfeel and warming sensation the original spirit carried.

The range covers whisky alternatives, tequila and dark spiced rum, all at 0% ABV. Each is built to hold up neat, in cocktails and with mixers.

Kahol Spirits occupies the premium end of the alcohol-free spirits market and targets what the brand calls flex-drinkers: people who move between alcoholic and alcohol-free options by occasion rather than as a permanent lifestyle shift.
