Lindemans is a Belgian lambic brewery founded in 1822 by Frans Lindemans on a farm in Vlezenbeek, in the Pajottenland region southwest of Brussels, with a 0.0% lambic range launched in 2023.

The brewery remains an independent family business, now managed by the sixth generation of the Lindemans family, cousins Dirk and Geert Lindemans. Lambic is a beer style unique to the Pajottenland and the Senne Valley, produced through spontaneous fermentation: the beer ferments using wild yeasts and bacteria present naturally in the local air and cellars rather than added cultivated strains, giving it a characteristic tartness and complexity that sets it apart from most other beer styles. This geographical specificity means lambic cannot be authentically produced elsewhere, giving the Lindemans name an inherent regional credential.

Lindemans entered the AF market in 2023 with the launch of its first 0.0% products: a focused range of fruit-infused lambics. These are made by first brewing a traditional lambic at full strength and then removing the alcohol, preserving the acidity and fruit character that define the style. The AF range sits alongside a much broader catalogue of alcoholic lambics and fruit beers.

In 2022, the brewery opened a second production site in Ruisbroek to support growing demand, complementing the historic Vlezenbeek brewery that has operated for two centuries. Lindemans exports to more than 40 countries, with the AF variants available through specialist alcohol-free retailers. Within the broader AF beer market, a spontaneously fermented lambic base represents a genuinely different starting point from conventional lager or ale, both in production method and flavour profile.
