Codorníu is a Spanish cava producer with winemaking roots going back to 1551, recognised as the oldest winery in Spain and the oldest producer of cava.

Based in Sant Sadurní d'Anoia in the Penedès region, the estate has been in the hands of a winemaking family across 18 generations and is considered the oldest family business in Spain. The company name derives from Anna Codorníu, who married Miquel Raventós in 1659, uniting the two families whose descendants continue to run the business. A document from 1551 records founder Jaume Codorníu in possession of wine barrels and wine presses. The cellars at Sant Sadurní d'Anoia were designed by the modernist architect Puig i Cadafalch and declared a National Historic Artistic Monument in 1976.

In 1872, Josep Raventós produced the first cava in Spain using the Traditional Method, fermenting sparkling wine in the bottle. Codorníu is now the second-largest producer of cava and the only cava producer to source grapes from three climatic zones within the D.O. Cava designation. Local Penedès varieties Macabeo, Xarel·lo and Parellada form the backbone of the traditional blends; Chardonnay and Pinot Noir were introduced in subsequent decades. Codorníu launched the first cava wine to include Chardonnay in 1984, and released the first 100% Pinot Noir Rosé cava in 2004. Sustainable winegrowing practices are applied across the vineyards.

Codorníu added alcohol-free sparkling wines to its portfolio in 2010. The alcohol-free cavas are made from Chardonnay and Xarel·lo grapes and dealcoholised through vacuum distillation at low temperature, a process that removes the alcohol from the finished wine without applying high heat.
