Jukes

Jukes Cordialities is a London-based alcohol-free wine alternative brand, launched in 2020 by wine writer Matthew Jukes and a team of chefs. Inspired by a centuries-old recipe for Haymaker's Punch, the range takes organic apple cider vinegar as its foundation and builds on it with fruits, vegetables, herbs, spices, and flowers. The aim from the outset was to create flavours that sit outside existing drink categories rather than mimicking any single one.

Development took a year, during which Matthew Jukes made 200 single-note versions of the recipe before settling on the final formulations. Jukes uses a proprietary infusion method to combine the apple cider vinegar base with these botanicals. All drinks are pasteurised.

The range covers white, red, and rosé wine alternatives, available either as a concentrate for diluting at home or in premixed sparkling cans. The brand is designed for mindful drinkers and is positioned to enhance the dining experience. Three drinks in the range have won awards.

Jukes is served in Michelin-starred restaurants worldwide and is sold in 13 countries.
