Phil & Goode La Planta is an alcohol-free agave spirit, styled after a reposado tequila. The name nods to the agave plant itself, and the liquid aims for the complexity of an aged spirit without the alcohol. The nose is oak-forward, with baking spice, cinnamon, and a thread of brown sugar. On the palate it is drier than the aroma suggests, with roasted agave and caramel coming through alongside a gentle pepper warmth. That heat lingers on the roof of the mouth in a way that mimics the sensation of aged tequila. The finish carries citrus peel and spice. Made with filtered water, natural tequila flavour, oak, and white button mushroom fibre extract as a natural preservative. Under 0.5% ABV. Works over ice or in classic tequila cocktails.
