Left Handed Giant is one of Bristol's more credible craft breweries, and Nothing Ventured is their take on an alcohol-free West Coast pale. It's brewed using cutting-edge low-alcohol techniques rather than dealcoholisation, and the difference shows: the hop character is assertive and present in a way that dealcoholised versions often struggle with. Simcoe and Citra T90 hops drive the flavour profile - expect orange zest, mango and a thread of pine, with the malt providing a rounded backbone that keeps things balanced. The bitterness is genuine but not harsh. It drinks soft and modern, properly beer-like without compensating with sweetness. Vegan friendly.
