REBELS Dolce Spritz is the brand's take on the bitter-sweet Italian aperitif format, designed as a direct alternative to Aperol in a Spritz. It's made with orange peel distillate alongside rhubarb flavour, liquorice, vermouth extract and spice — a more complex botanical base than most AF aperitif alternatives. The flavour opens with bitter-sweet oranges: the orange peel distillate accounts for 25% of the liquid and it's noticeable. Rhubarb adds a fruity tartness underneath, and the spice extracts build a complexity through the mid-palate that most coloured sugar syrup alternatives don't reach. The finish is characteristically lightly peppery, which is consistent with the REBELS approach across the range. At 62 kcal and 15.2g sugar per 100ml it's the sweetest and most calorie-dense of the REBELS products — which makes sense given the format. An Aperol Spritz is inherently a sweeter serve, and the Dolce Spritz follows that. Mix 4cl with prosecco (alcoholic or otherwise) and soda water over ice for a straightforward Spritz, or 5cl with tonic and an orange slice for a simpler long drink.
