About This Drink
The Peach Sunset is M&S's take on the canned low-alcohol cocktail format: fruit-forward, spiced, and designed to be drunk straight from a 250ml can rather than mixed. It's not beer, not wine — it's a flavoured sparkling cocktail, which puts it in the same territory as the growing range of ready-to-drink AF mixers now showing up in supermarket fridges. The peach purée makes up 8% of the recipe, which is enough to give it a genuine fruit character rather than a flavouring-led approximation. White grape juice adds a light vinous base, and the spice blend — cinnamon, pink peppercorn, allspice, sarsaparilla — is the same combination used in M&S's Golden Spiced Botanical, suggesting a house spice profile rather than anything bespoke. It's sweet: 9.3g sugar per 100ml, higher than any of the AF beers or botanicals in the M&S range. At 250ml per can the serving is 23g sugar total, which is worth knowing. Vegan, fine chilled, and uncomplicated.
