Bezalkoholowe IPA
A Polish alcohol-free IPA brewed with Czech Most and American Mosaic hops, sharpened with hop oil additions for extra aromatic punch.
About This Drink
ReCraft are a craft brewery out of Swietochlowice in Silesia, and the Bezalkoholowe IPA is their take on a proper hop-forward IPA without the alcohol. The brewing approach is more technical than it might appear: alongside Czech Most and American Mosaic hops, they use Hot Shot IPA oil additions to crank the aroma intensity back up after dealcoholisation, which often strips a beer of its hop character. The result is more resinous and assertive than most alcohol-free IPAs, which tend to veer into pale ale territory to compensate. The bitterness is the point here. It's clean and dry rather than harsh, with lemon pith and pine leading the way and a faint tropical undercurrent from the Mosaic. It won't satisfy anyone looking for a hazy, fruit-bomb IPA, but as a classic, bitterness-first IPA it holds its own well. Available through UK specialist AF retailers. The 500ml bottle format means it's best poured into a glass rather than sipped straight.
