About This Drink
The Zeronic range is Zeronimo's attempt to create something genuinely new: alcohol-free wine tonics. Rather than simply dealcoholising wine and bottling it, they blend their Austrian alcohol-free wine with bespoke fruit tonics to create a different category of drink altogether. Fancy Red pairs their Zweigelt — a native Austrian red grape variety — with a raspberry tonic, and the result is more interesting than the concept might suggest. The wine base brings real structure. Zweigelt is known for its soft tannins and dark berry fruit, and those qualities survive the dealcoholisation process enough to come through in the can. The raspberry tonic adds effervescence and tartness without turning this into a fruit soda. There's a dry, wine-like complexity that sets it apart from most AF red wine alternatives, which often end up tasting like grape juice with added fizz. In a 250ml can it's a convenient format — works as an aperitif, works with food. Genuinely vegan, and at 0.0% ABV there's no ambiguity about the alcohol content. Available through Dry Drinker and specialist AF retailers in the UK.
