Named after the defiant Welsh-language anthem by Dafydd Iwan — Yma o Hyd translates as "still here" — this is Dirwest's flagship beer, and it carries that spirit. Brewed in Wales to 0.5% ABV, it is a proper IPA in structure: resinous up front, with tropical fruit softening the bitterness and a malty middle that stops it feeling thin. The ingredients are simple: water, malted barley, wheat, hops, and yeast. It comes in at 37 calories per 330ml can, which is genuinely low. Gluten-free and vegan. The Untappd crowd have noticed the mouthfeel in particular — for a sub-0.5% IPA, that is not nothing. Available direct from Dirwest in singles (£2.90), 4-packs, 12-packs, and 24-packs. Unlike the botanical spirit, this one appears to be in stock consistently. A rare thing: a genuinely Welsh craft AF beer that tastes the part.
