The Sound AF Best Bitter is brewed at the same rural East Sussex site as their full-strength range, using the Sussex spring water that runs through all the Sound AF beers. The flavour profile is exactly what the style should be: biscuit malt up front, a thread of light caramel, and bitterness that comes in clean and balances rather than dominates. It's malt-forward without being sweet or heavy, and drinks easily — the kind of thing you could have two of without thinking about it. Certified vegan and gluten-free, which is increasingly standard for Lakedown's range. Comes in 440ml cans at less than 0.5% ABV.
