About This Drink
Remedy Orange Splash is built on the same 30-day SCOBY fermentation that runs through the whole range. Orange and blood orange flavourings do most of the work, with hibiscus tea adding tartness and a slightly floral background. Lemon flavouring keeps the citrus profile sharp rather than letting it tip into juice territory. Like the rest of the range, all starting sugar is consumed during fermentation, and erythritol plus stevia are used at the end. The result sits closer to a citrus soda than a traditional kombucha. The fermentation character is present but quiet, mostly showing as mild tartness underneath the orange. It finishes dry and fairly clean with a faint lingering citrus note. The carbonation is lively on pour and settles quickly. In the context of the Remedy range, this is one of the more accessible flavours. The orange is recognisable and direct, and at around 3 calories per 100ml it's among the lighter options. Worth trying if the earthier ginger or ferment-forward variants put you off.
