Eisberg Selection Pinot Noir sits in the brand's premium tier, made from Pinot Noir grapes selected from quality European vineyards and dealcoholised using vacuum distillation. Pinot Noir is one of the most delicate red grape varieties, and this version preserves much of its characteristic lightness. The colour is a translucent ruby. On the nose there is an appealing bouquet of blackcurrant, cherry, and a whisper of sweet spice. The palate is correspondingly light and juicy, with the fruit character clean and precise rather than heavy. There is finesse here that sets it apart from the fuller-bodied red options in the range. At only 14 calories per 100ml, it is one of the lightest reds available in dealcoholised form. It works well with lighter meat dishes, mushroom-based recipes, and mild aged cheeses. Best served slightly cool, around 14 to 16°C.
