Eisberg is a German alcohol-free wine brand established in 1985, part of the Schloss Wachenheim Group and produced using vacuum distillation to preserve aromatic character. Schloss Wachenheim is one of the world's largest producers of sparkling wine, providing Eisberg with production scale and winemaking expertise that most dedicated AF wine labels cannot match. The brand has held a leading position in the alcohol-free wine category since its establishment four decades ago.

Vacuum distillation is the process at the heart of Eisberg's production: alcohol is removed from the base wine at reduced pressure, which lowers the boiling point and allows the alcohol to evaporate without the high temperatures that would damage the wine's aroma and flavour. The resulting liquid retains more of the original character than conventional removal methods, a distinction the brand positions as central to its quality.

The portfolio is broad by the standards of the category, covering still whites, reds, and rosés produced from multiple grape varieties, alongside sparkling formats and a seasonal warming variant. A 2023 brand refresh introduced new packaging across the core range and launched a Signature tier, positioned above the lower-calorie Be Free sparkling sub-range. That depth gives Eisberg a presence across occasions from everyday mid-week drinking through to seasonal and celebratory formats, supporting a wider range of drinkers than most single-style AF wine producers.

Eisberg has a long-standing association with professional cycling, including a partnership with the Tour of Britain, which has positioned the brand with fitness-focused drinkers rather than framing it purely around abstinence. That sporting alignment gives the range a natural context beyond the obvious occasions for alcohol-free wine.

Distribution is multi-channel, with the range widely stocked across mainstream supermarkets and available through specialist alcohol-free retailers. Pricing sits firmly in the value-to-mid bracket, making Eisberg one of the more accessible AF wine options for consumers new to the category.
