Not Guilty Red Blend is a dealcoholised red wine from South Australia. The fruit is fermented at cool temperatures between 18 and 22°C on oak, then spinning cone technology removes the alcohol at low temperature, retaining the wine's natural colour, fruit, and body. It pours deep ruby with garnet edges. The nose carries familiar red wine aromas: dark plum, blackberry, and a gentle oakiness. On the palate it is smooth and medium-bodied, with ripe red and dark fruit flavours, soft tannins from the oak fermentation, and a rounded structure. The 29 calories per 100ml make it one of the more substantial options in the zero-alcohol wine category. Works well with grilled vegetables, pasta with tomato sauce, or a cheese board.
