Peanut Butter Dark is a deliberately flavoured beer, not one for anyone expecting a straightforward dark ale. The peanut and hazelnut come through on the nose immediately, with roasted coffee and chocolate underneath. The mouthfeel is creamy, and the flavour is rich in a way that sits closer to a dessert than a sessionable pint. It pours near-black with a tan head. The roast is there but secondary to the nut character. For a non-alcoholic beer this is genuinely distinctive. Whether that's a good thing depends on whether you came looking for peanut butter.
