Odra Pany Free is the alcohol-free version of Nepomucen's Odra Pany gose, named after the river running through the Wielkopolska and Lower Silesia regions where the brewery operates. It is a kettle sour fermented with lactic acid bacteria, then built out with peach, orange, lemon and Himalayan salt. The pour is sun-yellow to gold with a gentle haze. Peach leads the nose, soft and ripe, with orange peel adding citrus brightness. On the palate, fruit opens things up, then the clean mineral acidity of the salt takes hold mid-palate. Lemon juice adds tartness and the lactic sourness is the defining thread, balanced by the fruit's natural sweetness without tipping into cloying territory. One of the more approachable non-alcoholic sours in Nepomucen's range, and a natural companion to food.
