About This Drink
Carl Jung Cuvée Rot is an alcohol-free red wine from the Rheingau region of Germany. It is a blend of several grape varieties, made by de-alcoholisation, which means the wine is fermented at full strength and then has its alcohol removed. It is deep ruby red in the glass. The aroma is ripe berries, cherries and blackberries. To taste it is fruity, with raspberries and red currants, a touch of liquorice and a little spice. It is demi-sec, so off-dry with a slight sweetness, and full-bodied with well-integrated tannins. Carl Jung suggests serving it at 16 to 18 degrees alongside lighter dishes such as pasta or poultry.
