The drink is made in Germany using a cold extraction process, which draws out flavour without heat, and it is sweetened with beet sugar. The result is herbal and citrusy, with buchu, mint and nutmeg through the taste and a delicate blackcurrant flavour alongside. It finishes with a touch of spice.
