About This Drink
Where Seasn DARK is built for whisky-adjacent drinks, LIGHT is the citrus-and-herb counterpart designed for lighter spirits, margarita-style cocktails, and martinis. Same format — 100ml, 0.0% ABV, vegetable glycerin base — but with a completely different botanical brief. The LIGHT formula uses lime, grapefruit, rosemary, and kombu (a dried kelp used in Japanese cooking for its umami and brightness), plus king of bitters, quassia, and malic acid. The quassia adds a clean, dry bitterness without the roasted quality you get from gentian root, and the kombu gives a faint saline note that works well in citrus cocktails. The overall character is green, zesty, and herbal. Three dashes into a sparkling water with lime turns it into something genuinely interesting. In a margarita-style build it adds the aromatic complexity that the drink usually gets from the aged tequila. Like the DARK version, it is sugar-free, vegan, and non-GMO, with 50 serves per bottle. At £14.99 it asks you to commit to the concept, but if you're building a serious AF bar cabinet, both the LIGHT and DARK are worth having.
