Pink Gin & Tonic
A 0.0% pink G&T-style drink with juniper, raspberry, and red berry flavours.
About This Drink
Pink gin and tonic has become its own category, which says something about how far the market has shifted. Sir James 101's take on it follows the familiar template: juniper-forward botanicals, raspberry and red berries for the pink hue and sweetness, all over tonic carbonation. The nose has floral juniper and raspberry fruit, with a light botanical edge. On the palate it is sweet with distinct berry character and a faint quinine bitterness at the tail. The botanical side is present but not particularly complex. It reads more as a berry soft drink with juniper character than a true gin-and-tonic simulacrum. That is fine for what it is. Serve it in a balloon glass with lots of ice, a wheel of cucumber or lemon, and a few berries if you want the visual effect. Works well at a social gathering where the presentation matters as much as the drink. Confirmed vegan and gluten free.
