Proxies Red Clay is one of the red wine alternatives in the Proxies range, developed by Acid League. Built on Pinot Noir grape juice, it uses cranberry vinegar to provide structural acidity, while burdock root and a blend of black and elderberry teas contribute botanical depth. Wine tannin extract is also included to replicate the drying quality associated with red wines. Like the wider Proxies portfolio, it is built from scratch as an alcohol-free drink rather than dealcoholised wine.
