Wonder Drink has been producing organic kombucha in Portland, Oregon since 1999, placing it among the longer-established producers in the category. Organic status is certified to USDA standard and independently verified by Oregon Tilth. The production method involves a two-step fermentation followed by pasteurisation, and each product comes in below 0.5% ABV as a result. The kombucha naturally produces acetic, gluconic and lactic acids alongside polyphenol antioxidants and L-theanine. Certain variants in the range also add XOS fibre (xylo-oligosaccharides) for a prebiotic benefit.
