Surreal Brewing Pastry Porter was the first release in the brand's Dessert Series of non-alcoholic beers, developed to provide a rich, dessert-style experience without the high sugar content typical of the pastry stout category. The brewery uses a proprietary fermentation method that achieves a full-fermented character without dealcoholisation or heat treatment. Monk fruit provides natural sweetness with a low glycaemic impact, and lactose contributes the creamy body the brand likens to a traditional barrel-aged stout. The Pastry Porter remains the Dessert Series entry within Surreal's broader non-alcoholic range.
