Spirits of Virtue was founded in 2018 by brothers Roddy and Kerr Nicoll with the aim of creating super-premium alcohol-free spirits. The company is based at the Clydebank Industrial Estate in Scotland and operates exclusively in the 0.0% ABV space. 270° Botanicals is the rum-focused line within the portfolio, designed to cover the key style categories within Caribbean rum rather than offer a single generic substitute.

The range covers white, dark, spiced, and coconut rum styles, giving drinkers a structured set of options across the Caribbean rum flavour spectrum. Production draws on organic botanicals and Deeside mineral water, sourced from the Cairngorms National Park in Scotland and used as the base across the Spirits of Virtue portfolio.
