The brand was announced ahead of Megadeth's final studio album and an upcoming farewell tour, with Mustaine personally selecting the beers that make up the range. All production is handled by Black Sheep Brewery. Products are sold directly through the brand's own website and distributed across the UK and Europe.

The lineup spans pilsners and IPAs at conventional alcoholic strengths alongside an alcohol-free IPA. The inclusion of an alcohol-free option gives sober-curious drinkers a place within the same lineup, alongside those purchasing the alcoholic variants.
