Padstow Brewing
Padstow Brewing Co. is a Cornish independent micro-brewery founded in 2013 by husband and wife Simon and Caron Archer, based in Padstow, Cornwall. The brewery began in a former surf-shower unit before relocating to a larger site on the outskirts of town, and remains a family-owned operation focused on small-batch production. Its alcohol-free offering, Crew Brew, is a 0.5% Hazy Pale Ale launched in 2023 and the brewery's first step into the low-ABV category.
Crew Brew carries a charitable dimension that sets it apart from most craft AF releases: 10p from every can sold is donated to the Royal National Lifeboat Institution, a cause with obvious resonance for a brewery rooted in a working harbour town. The RNLI partnership is built into the product's identity rather than added as an afterthought, making Crew Brew a natural choice for drinkers who want their purchase to carry some local meaning.
Padstow Brewing Co. operates its own tasting room and a shop in the centre of Padstow, giving the brand a strong direct presence in its home market. Beyond Cornwall, Crew Brew is available through specialist alcohol-free retailers. The broader beer range is distributed across independent outlets, with the AF line occupying a deliberate but narrow position within the portfolio.
