Pretty Decent

Pretty Decent started in Forest Gate, East London, before relocating its main production to Blackhorse Road, Walthamstow in late 2022. The Blackhorse Road site sits within a stretch of independent breweries known locally as the Blackhorse Beer Mile. The brewery runs as an independent, family-run business with a taproom-first philosophy, maintaining multiple East London locations as its primary public presence.

As a social enterprise, Pretty Decent donates a portion of every beer sold to a charity partner. The brewery has built a reputation for playful, irreverent beer names and bold label artwork, a character that extends consistently across its full range.

Pretty Decent entered the alcohol-free market in early 2023 with a hazy IPA designed to carry the full hop profile of the core range. The AF beer uses high-quality hops to preserve the flavour identity that defines the rest of the catalogue, giving sober-curious drinkers access to the same hop-forward character. The range is available through specialist alcohol-free retailers.

Pretty Decent occupies a defined position among smaller London breweries with AF ambitions: independently owned, socially structured, taproom-rooted, and hop-focused. The brewery's East London roots and its social enterprise commitment are as much a part of the identity as the beers it makes.
